About

Hello! My name is Nicole and I'm a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist working in London providing online therapy for children and adults.

I completed my Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) at the University of East London and my Psychology (BSc) at the University of Southampton. I have worked in the NHS for 8 years working with children and adults in a range of settings, my current role as a Clinical Psychologist is within a specialist trauma team.

I am a trauma specialist who works integratively using systemic, narrative and trauma-focused approaches. I hope that we can work together to make sense of your difficulties by considering your personal contexts and experiences. I will aim to collaboratively think with you about ways for you to process some of your difficulties and feel less stuck.

I know that finding the right therapist can feel really difficult and daunting and that having a good, supportive, and human relationship with your therapist is key to therapy so please get in touch so we can have a free 20-minute chat to think about whether we're the right fit. Your Therapy

Assessment

The first step would be for us to meet for an assessment session to understand your needs before making a plan for further support, such as individual therapy.

If it feels too daunting to go straight into an assessment session, I can offer you a 20 minute 'get to know eachother' session online or on the phone. This will give you a sense of what working together might feel like and to check if we're the right fit.

Individual Therapy

Once the assessment has been completed, we'll think together about creating a personalised plan for therapy. In relation to the number of sessions you may need, this will depend on your individual needs (on average, the agreed plan is between 12-20 sessions).
